Puerto Vallarta is a Mexican beach resort city that is nestled on the quaint Bahía de Banderas Pacific Coast. It is home to 255,725 people and hence the largest city in the Mexican State of Jalisco.

The municipality of Puerto Vallarta measures 502.19 square miles. To the north, it is bordered by State of Nayarit, to the east by Mascota and San Sebastián del Oeste Municipality and to the south by Talpa de Allende and Cabo Corriente municipalities. Of course, its western side is the long pristine, sandy beach that follows the Pacific Ocean Coastline.  It is this beach and great customer service in Puerto Vallarta’s resorts that have endeared it to vacationers.

To get to the city, international tourists are well advised to use Gustavo Diaz Ordaz International Airport. Note that tourism accounts for about 50% of the economic activities in the city. Among the attractions that have brought visitors from far and wide include; Church of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Púlpito and Pilitas, Playa Conchas Chinas, The Malecón and many more.

Puerto Vallarta is a holidaymakers’ haven and any tourist who wants to get the best of Mexican culture will find it here in abundance.
